HIV Testing
Health Education And Outreach Program
At FAP, we believe that everyone deserves to be healthy. That’s why we make sure that we use health education and outreach services as the key components in achieving our mission and vision. These services provide learning experiences on health topics tailored for their target population.
HIV Testing
FAP’s prevention services are designed to reduce a person’s risk of acquiring HIV or other sexually transmitted infections (STIs). From educating clients about medical interventions like Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) and Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP), our program strives to fulfill FAP’s mission and vision of a community with no new HIV infections.
WITH THIS IN MIND,
Our organization also offers services like HIV testing. Aside from that, we also provide on-site and off-site community testing, counseling, and outreach services to areas of the community that need them most.
END THE EPIDEMIC
Preventing the number of new HIV infections is critical as we work toward ending the HIV epidemic. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has launched Ending the HIV Epidemic: A Plan for America. The initiative aims to reduce new HIV infections in the U.S. by 90% by 2030.
